"This is a faithful saying: For if we died with Him, We shall also live with Him. If we endure, We shall also reign with Him. If we deny Him, He also will deny us. If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself."
– 2 Timothy 2:11-13 New King James Version (NKJV)

The Sunday School at Cambria Heights Gospel Chapel continues to operate to the glory of God. Our program exists to bring people to an awareness of their need of the Savior. It is available to help them grow in the grace of our Lord, His knowledge and holiness. This experience is possible through discipleship, mentoring, teaching, meditating, and memorizing the word of God. Our Lord exhorts us from His Word, the Holy Bible, to “grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” (2 Peter 3:18)

The College Prayer Group was started in 1993 by our Sisters Delores McGhie, Brenda Moses-Brown, Gwen Bonner, Maxine Daley, Monica Codner, and Amy Thomas; and Brothers Arthur McGhie, Donald Bonner, George Francis, Kenneth Anderson, and Noel Henry. It was a decision made by parents of Cambria Heights Gospel Chapel, who had children that attended college/high school both near and far. The purpose was and still is to pray for and extend fellowship with the students who were away in college and combating ungodly elements and challenges on campus, as well as high school. The Cambria Heights Gospel Chapel parents agree that it is comforting to know that their children are in the Lord’s hands and covered with prayers. The group also provides information for students via financial aid, college selection and preparation, career selection and networking opportunities.

Yearly Activities Include:

  • Dedication, prayer and fellowship before returning to school
  • A time of prayer and fellowship the 1st Saturday in January
    before they return to school
  • Graduation recognition in June for all College and High school students
  • Provision of information for students via financial aid, college
    selection and preparation

  • Yearly fundraising trip in November to provide assistance teach
    student during the Christmas season

Radio Africa is a broadcast ministry through Pan American Broadcasting. It broadcasts to approximately 185 million souls in the regions of Cameroon, Nigeria, Benin, Togo, Ghana, Cote d’Ivoire, Liberia, Guinea, Burkina Faso, Mali, Sierra Leone, and Equatorial Guinea. We receive numerous letters from listeners that have been touched by the messages of Brother Melvyn Hunte. We do our best to respond to their requests. If you desire to donate spiritual growth materials please contact us.

Our goal is to have our children, ages 1½ to 7, experience a time of fellowship with their peers where they can have fun as they learn the word of God through Bible stories, singing, and playing games. It’s a child-friendly service so that children can feel that they belong to the congregation. It’s our prayer that our children will experience a personal relationship with Christ at an early age. Adults and teens who volunteer for this service will build intergenerational friendships that are beneficial to all.

The youth ministry meets every Saturday at 7:30pm.

The Women’s Ministry at Cambria Heights Gospel Chapel focuses on bringing the sisters of our church together in fellowship to help foster spiritual growth and development within the body of Christ. Our ministry focuses on equipping our sisters by helping them grow in the knowledge of our Lord through scripture and prayer, applying the word of God in our daily living, and through serving each other and our community by sharing the love of Christ. This year our theme is: Growing Deeper… Rising Higher. As we delve into a deeper relationship with God, we hope to bear more spiritual fruit for His kingdom.

There was a need to groom our teenage girls to become strong spiritual ladies in our
local church assembly and society. With this in mind- and under the leadership of the
Holy Spirit- T.U.N.E. (Teens United ‘N Example) was founded in May of the year 2000.
The founders of T.U.N.E. — the late Jennifer Wade, Sophia Russell and Audrey Bonner —became mentors to young ladies. They taught them the importance of being in tune
with Christ in their daily lives.
